Asset Tracing

Dukeries Detective Agency Ltd – Asset Tracing – 0845 230 3012

Asset tracing can be closely allied to one of our other services – Status/Fit to sue – and we have the experience and contacts to trace assets, whether hidden or visible, which can be determined by investigating;
• UK and international property ownershipAsset Tracing
• Directorships
• Investments
• Banking – UK and offshore
• Trusts
• Assets in the names of known and connected individuals, companies, partnerships, etc
• Corporate fraud
There are many reasons why an individual may wish to keep his assets hidden, but there are an equal number of reasons why an individual or a company may wish to know the extent of those assets; these include;
• Preparation for litigation or for judgement
• Institutions or investors preparing to loan or invest a large sum of money
• Background checks by an individual on his/her intended spouse
• A spouse wishing to check on his/her wife’s/husband’s assets in acrimonious divorce proceedings
Over the years, we have established good working relationships with the PoliceLocal Authorities and other Government Agencies to deliver a Professional Service to our clients.
We treat every case as unique and totally confidential, and we are happy to advise our clients on investigation methods and case managementWe will never use any unlawful, unethical or immoral means to trace a person’s assets!

When is it necessary to carry out an asset trace of an individual or a business?

A general error made in commercial litigation matters is to assume, when it is appropriate to take an individual or business to court in relation to outstanding debts, you will have to weigh up possible outcomes before you can determine if the case is worth moving forward.
Consequently, it is highly important to make appropriate enquiries at the outset to seek to determine whether a debtor is worth suing.
In some cases an individual will deliberately hide assets, they might do this because they are facing; divorce, fraudulent claims or other circumstances. If you believe an individual you are preparing to take to court may conceal assets it is critical to act fast and discreetly. Asset tracing can be very effective and help save the claimant money or give them incentive to pursue the claim.
When carrying out such services there is no 100% guarantee that we will be able to deliver the information and results you are hoping for, as in some cases they are not assets to find. We work entirely within the law and will not break it.

The Killing - AMC

The Killing is an American crime drama television series based on the Danish television series ‘Forbrydelsen

The Plot

Sarah Linden is about to leave to join her fiance in Sonoma with her son Jack. Her replacement, Stephen Holder, is on call and ready to take over, until they both receive a call from an on duty police patrol office who has found a ‘bloody jumper’ in a field. Shortly after a school girl has gone missing from her family home. Not long after they found Rosie Larsen (the missing school girl) in the boot of a car at the bottom of a lake. The car was registered to the local campaign for council man Darren Richmond, who is currently running for mayor of the city. With Lindens past she puts of her move to Sonoma for what she thinks will only be for a short while...

The series has a total of 26 episodes adding up to two seasons of teeth biting and investigation work to be done of your own. Right from the start you are thrown a number of possible ‘Killers’ could one of them be the one who killed Rosie Larsen and left her to die alive in the boot of a sinking car?

The car was registered to the Darren Richmond campaign and this leaves the police to investigate possible suspects who have access to the cars and their momentum. All the way through the series you are faced with new dilemmas and you will be constantly changing your mind, leaving it that more exciting and breath taking.

Darren Richmond lost his wife in a horrendous accident and is now trying to move on with his new partner Gwen Eaton. When Detective Linden and Detective Holder start to search for a user who has been hiring escorts online, Gwen starts to get suspicious, for a good reason. Was Rosie an escort and was she meeting a client? When Gwen finds out and the pair of detectives start asking questions, she informs the police that Darren returned home the night of Rosie Larsens murder soaking wet, he is now the lead suspect and is arrested for ‘The murder of Rosie Larsen.’ But did he really do it and what consequences will he now face, you will have to start watching the find out.

Gwen Eaton was also in the same campaign as her partner Darren along with Jamie Wright, these two being Darren’s closest friends and leading the campaign for him. (Did they have access to the car?) ‘The Richmond Campaign’ was going up against Mayor Lesley Adams who won the previous election. Mayor Adams would do anything to win and as the series moves on you will see how desperate and to what lengths he will go to ensure victory for his campaign.

The Larsen family went through hell as any normal family would in these circumstances, the family includes; Rosie Larsen, Danny Larsen, Tom Larsen, Stan Larsen, Mitch Larsen and Terry Marak who is Mitch’s sister. Stan and Mitch Larsen are the parents of; Danny, Tom and Rosie. As they start to mourn the death of their daughter, they start to neglect and ignore their two sons; this is where Terry steps in and takes on the role of mother, as Mitch leaves the family. When the two Larsen boys were at school Terry lived another life as an escort but by night she mothered the two boys and looked after them as her own...

Mitch and Terrys parents are showed in a few episodes, who both don’t really like Mitch’s Husband Stan who used to be part of the Polish Mob with friend and employee Belko Royce.
They are many more characters who have a main focus point in seasons 1 and 2 but you will have to tune in and watch the killing for yourself to find out more.

What I thought of the show.

I came across The Killing when The Walking Dead came to a close, whilst I was / still am waiting for the new series to air; I was browsing the AMCs website for another thriller.

I have to admit that the show is a slow, nail biting and brilliant series! The first few episodes was gut-wrenching and it drawn me in straight away and I was glued instantly. It slowly builds up and not a great deal happens straight away, this allows the viewers to be constantly sitting on the edge of their seats with frustration. The detective work that is carried out through the series is differently to the sort of work  private investigators would carry out as you can imagine. I would highly recommend this series, although i got the killer wrong, i'll be highly surprised if anyone guessed correctly!

I watched the series on Netflix and will carry on to watch season 3 when it is aired over the in United Kingdom.
